On March 6th 2018 Fredo, who is an up and coming grime MC, will be performing in Koko.

Roundhouse: Artists that have performed at the Roundhouse last year are: JP Cooper who is a pop artist, Yung Lean who is a rapper and Tycho who is a composer.

Artist who are going to be playing at the Roundhouse this year are: Chip (a rapper), Glantis (an electric dance music production) and Anne Marie (a pop star).

Kentish Town O2: Artists that are going to play in the O2 this year are: Tyga (a rapper), Playboi Carti (a rapper) and Ski Mask The Slump God (a rapper).

O2 academy Islington: Artists that are going to play in the O2 this year are: Gloryhammer, a power metal band, Rich Chigga who is a rapper and most commonly known Artic Monkeys who are a rock band.

Islington assembly hall: Artists that are going to play in the O2 this year are: Rag 'N' Bone Man who is a blues and pop singer. Yxng Bane who is a singer and rapper and Myles Kennedy who is a rock guitarist.

Union Chapel: Artists that are going to play here this year are:  The Barr Brothers who are a folk band and Billy Lockett who is a pop singer.

The Black Horse Pub: Small bands or singers perform here to make some money.

Guns and Smoke: Small unknown rock bands are usually the common type of band gigging in this pub.

In summary, it seems the most performed genre in North London is rap. Pop and Grime are also  popular genres in North London.
